Meet Dr. Banks

Dr. Lamont Banks graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with academic and clinical honors where he spent three years developing a greater understanding of the human body focusing on sports injury and rehabilitative care. He was the first of his class to complete all clinical requirements. Prior to Life West, Lamont graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University East Bay, where he developed an interest in sports medicine.

Dr. Banks grew up in the Bay Area and participated in a variety of sports throughout his life. He went to high school at Saint Joseph Notre Dame in Alameda where he won a state championship in basketball and continued his career at the collegiate level. He has combined his passion for sports and chiropractic into his everyday practice. Dr. Banks currently works with athletes of all activity levels including weekend warriors, CrossFitters, weightlifters, runners, and professional athletes. Dr. Banks implements a holistic approach to treatment as he specializes in several soft tissue treatments including Graston and active myofascial release techniques in combination with spinal and extremity adjustments. Dr. Banks is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P) and Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P.).

Dr. Banks is married to his high school sweetheart, Allie. In his free time, he enjoys playing pick-up basketball, going on hikes with Allie and their cocker spaniel Sophie, and staying up to date with local sports teams.
